I am getting this out a little earlier this week. No reason, just early. We are looking at Tuesday this week as our fly day. In several weeks we will be back to being able to fly all 5 week days but we will still select a good day for flying with our group.
President Curt has been writing letters to AMA and FAA and Windam Airport trying to get our use of the Mansfield back. Looking promising.
Please watch your lose shirts and transmitter cords when starting glow engines. Even electrics can catch on something. Have seen several close ones in the last couple weeks.

Attached are my comments and Jim Knox’s comment posted or sent to the FAA in response to their Interpretation of Special Rules for Model Aircraft.
We need everyone to take a moment and post a comment. It need not be detailed or long, just your thoughts on what the FAA has “ruled” and how it will affect our hobby.
Post you comment at: http://www.regulations.gov/. Then scroll down to “What’s Trending” and under that heading you will see “Interpretation of the Special Rule for Model Aircraft”. Click on that and it will take you to the page with the blue “Comment Now” button.
