- FIBERGLASSING -
What I do is instead of using the white fiberglass strips for fiberglassing center section, I use the fiberglass window screen, and you can get it at Home Depot or any building supply store. It comes 36" wide (I think) cut out the size you need , mix the epoxy, pour it on the wing lay in the window screen in the epoxy, squeegee it to fill the weave, let it set up, then I use spackle or something similar to smooth over the now filled glass cloth. Let it dry overnight then sand it smooth & you’re done.

- FORCEPS -
When working with medical forceps to remove & replace fuel lines I use fuel tubing over the jaws and they still work fairly well, you can also use heat shrink tubing which works good also.

-EASY HINGE-
A lot of times if your not careful and using thin ca it can & will run over the entire hinge, what I do is take a crayon of the approximate color of the wing locate the center and make a line about a 1/4" wide with a crayon on both sides and continue your hinging project with the hinge in the wing and elevator (or where ever) the crayon mark will not allow the ca to bond to it due to the wax in the crayon resulting in a nice flexible hinge line free of ca.

-XACTO SAFETY-
What I do to safely get rid of used xacto blade,I take a empty jar make a 1/2" wide slit in the top of the lid, and place my used blades in the jar,as I am using my epoxy and what ever is left over I pour it into the jar covering the used blades, I continue to use this method till the jar is full. The blades can never do anyone any harm!
